Chapter VI: A spectral visitor!

Ghosts may seeme frightening to-day, but to the women of Ye Olde Sturbridge Village, they were a wellcome sight. In those days, knittingge was donne by hande, and it often took days to complete a simple sweater. Under-standably, a visit from the spirit worlde was a respite from such eye-straining work, and a chance to talk with a de-ceased relative. Although suche behavior may seem quainte now, it must be re-membered that this was in the days before tele-visionne!
